Where Rome – the Roman edition of the most reliable and widespread visitor magazine in the world – and Manet Mobile Solutions – an innovative company focused on developing digital solutions for tourism and travel industry – launch in Rome the Digital Rome City Guide, an interactive digital guide to the city, which combines the quality of the selected editorial content of the traditional paper version of the magazine with innovative digital tools aimed at offering tourists the opportunity to access a wide range of services able to simplify discovering the city during their stay in Rome in the more than 200 hotels where Where Rome is distributed.
The Digital Rome City Guide is an app – completely free – downloadable directly by scanning a QR-code on the magazine, able to open the door to a universe of content and services available to tourists including:
- tips for shopping, restaurants, events and museums by Where Rome;
- tourist guide of Rome and the main Italian destinations;
- useful travel tools such as translator, currency exchange, emergency contacts, etc.;
- touch point for the purchase of tickets for experiences, museums and attractions;
- simple and convenient Internet connectivity via eSIM technology.
Available in over 10 languages, the Digital Rome City Guide is launched on Where Rome starting from the print edition of May, in view of the intensification of tourist flows for the high season. This initiative, in addition to being an opportunity to open up to new distribution channels to step up after the Covid-19 pandemic, aims to support the discovery and visit of the city and to intercept the new needs of travelers by offering a complete tool with content and services able to upgrade the stay experience.

Where Rome is a monthly free magazine published in English, distributed in the best hotels in Rome since March 1995, and easily recognized by visitors because of its presence in 60 cities around the world, through the local editions, all sharing the American brand Where and universally recognized as the most reliable and widespread visitor magazine.
After two years of forced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, while still maintaining a digital monthly edition, downloadable from QR code-fitted exhibitors available in hotels, Where Rome has resumed its paper edition in December 2021.
